WEBSITE RECONSTRUCTION
The website is currently undergoing redesign to place more emphasis on the current car model and showcase the long history of Sunstang Solar Cars. Stay tuned over the coming weeks to see the release of the new Sunstang website!

TEAM UPDATES
Sunstang has focused on redesigning the chassis and battery box to optimize the vehicle weight and material use. This is to ensure allocated funds are being used as efficiently as possible.
Aerodynamics Team
The team completed the CAD model for aerobody mounting and strengthening. Additionally, the team has selected a door design and will now continue to work on implementing the door locking mechanism and solar cell mounting.
High-Power Team
The team is evaluating the options of purchasing new MPPTs or building them and will determine the best course of action. They are also designing the battery box layout while keeping in mind thermal considerations. Lastly, High-Power has tested and began building the constant current loads for battery cell capacity testing.
